HOW CAN MY FRIENDS ALSO BECOME SOUNDVIEW PRAYER PARTNERS?

HOW MANY TEXTS WILL I RECEIVE?
- At this time, we are sending out between 2-4 texts per week.
WILL I RECEIVE A REQUEST AND UPDATE REGARDING EVERY CLIENT?
- The truth is we serve women in crisis nearly every single day, with an average of 5-7 clients per day. Although we would love to send requests out for every one of them, 40+ texts per week are just not feasible to maintain.
HOW CAN I BE PRAYING ON DAYS I DO NOT RECEIVE A TEXT?
- Because we see abortion minded / determined women nearly every day of the week, please pray for the clients that we are unable to share requests for; for their decisions, for the protection of their unborn children, and for their spiritual walk. During times that we are not seeing clients, our client services and medical teams are busy making follow–up calls to girls we have seen, giving them another opportunity to talk through her decision and provide additional care. Our staff also uses that time for training and education / program development.
DO YOU HAVE TO REPLY TO THE TEXT MESSAGES?
- If you would like to reply you are welcomed to do so but replies are not required.
ARE MY REPLIES SEEN BY ANYONE?
- To the best of our ability, our development team does try to read every reply we receive. They are so encourage and are often shared during our prayer time as a staff.
CAN I SHARE THE PRAYER REQUESTS I RECEIVE?
- Although we desire as many people as possible praying for our clients, we do ask that you NOT share these requests on social media or to prayer group chats. We are careful to assure that we do not share identifying information about our clients in our messages, however we believe it is in their best interest to not allow these message to go viral. Additionally, it is in their best interest for us to know the names of those who are seeing these messages. We suggest that you instead encourage others to sign up as well to receive these texts. They can easily join by texting PRAYER to 631-430-4984 or by calling our office 631-676-7990.

- We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve women and families in crisis on Long Island however we could not complete the work set before us without the volunteer partnerships and financial provisions of our supporters.
