Honoring Life on Sanctity of Life Sunday

Today, as churches and families across the country observe Sanctity of Life Sunday, we pause to honor a powerful truth: every human life is intentionally created by God with purpose, dignity, and immeasurable worth.

At Soundview, this truth is at the heart of everything we do through our holistic approach, Loving Them Both. Upholding the sanctity of life means advocating for and rescuing lives by protecting unborn babies from abortion, while also caring deeply for the women and men facing unplanned pregnancies.

This care is grounded in both faith and practical support. Women and families are welcomed with compassion, pointed to the hope found in Jesus, and surrounded with tangible resources—material support, baby showers, reproductive loss coaching, parenting education, and counseling during seasons of fear and uncertainty. Time and time again, our staff and medical professionals have witnessed how this model, rooted in both truth and love, equips women and men to make confident, life-affirming decisions for their babies and their families.

Sanctity of Life Sunday is a reminder that defending life requires both conviction and love, expressed through prayer, advocacy, and action. Prayer, in particular, is a powerful way to uphold the sanctity of life at every stage, bringing hope, strength, and guidance to those who serve and to those in need.

As we honor life today, we are inspired by Psalm 139:13-14:
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
